Microblading

Microblading to create beautiful eyebrows by ANITA of Bare Essentials North East

Microblading is a type of Permanent Make up that delivers natural looking eyebrows with fine individual hairs. This specialist technique adds pigment beneath the upper reticular layer of the skin for a permanent naturally defined eyebrow shape.

Eyebrow microblading is ideal for those who have over-plucked, light coloured, or thin eyebrows that need to be filled in or redefined. Microblading can also re-construct and redefine the eyebrow shape, whether you want feathered arch or a straight bold look.

Eyebrow Microblading is considered a semi-permanent procedure that does not wash off and will look good for 1-2 years, depending on how you care for your eyebrows.

The initial microblading procedure takes about 1-2 hours. This includes prep time discussing the type of eyebrow you want to achieve with your eyebrow shaping. Anita will initially draw the eyebrows with a pencil to define the exact final shape. You will also need to choose the colour and density you want before the microblading procedure begins.

Bare Essentials North East’s Microblading treatment is split into two separate appointments which are spaced 4- 6 weeks apart. The reason you need to come back after 4 weeks is because your skin needs time to heal – during the healing process some of the pigment may be pushed out of the skin naturally and your second appointment will ensure that we can correct any changes and make sure you leave with your desired result.

Anita charges £195 for the microblading package which includes a blood test to ensure there will be no allergic reactions. The treatment and the top up 4-6 weeks after the main procedure.

A deposit of £25 is charged on the day you take your blood test. (Usually a week before your procedure date).
